Justin earned his PhD in experimental psychology from the University of Manchester, UK. He also has post graduate qualifications in in health psychology and cognitive therapy. He is a chartered health psychologist with the British Psychological Society (No. 244461) and is presently an associate professor in the department of psychology at Zayed University, where he directs the Research Cluster for Culture Cognition and Wellbeing.
Justin undertakes research and publishes extensively on topics related to culture and psychological wellbeing. His most recent book is, Psychological Wellbeing in the Gulf States: The New Arabia Felix. In addition to academic writing Justin is passionate about promoting the public understanding of psychology and also writes extensively for the popular press, makes media appearances and delivers public lectures and workshops on topics related to psychology culture and wellbeing.
