After finishing his management undergraduate degree from the Lebanese American University, Fadi travelled to Dubai and joined OMD in 2002 (a media planning & buying agency). As the only career that he has known, he has grown in often challenging roles.
Starting as a planning executive, Fadi grew to become an associate director in three years. He was appointed as general manager of OMD Kuwait in 2007, and in 2008, general manager of PHD Abu Dhabi. After years of comprehensive experience in the company, Fadi is now the Regional Executive Director of Human Capital for Omnicom Media Group MENA.
After a brief and successful tenure managing different entities and markets within the group, Fadi focused on completing his Executive MBA from London Business School in 2015, where in parallel taking on a human development role at Omnicom Media Group, as Regional Executive Director of Human Capital.
Over his time, Omnicom Media Group has been ranked 3rd best place to work in the UAE for 2014, 2015 & 2016 (#6 & #7 in years prior to taking on the role). Migrating from a business/management role into HR allowed him to look at the discipline as an enabler for individual success and productivity from a different view.
Not bound by traditional HR guidelines and processes, and having the support of a great CEO, it became easy to shape and mould a company culture different than any other in the industry; one based on happiness and employee wellbeing.
